1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using IsleBooks POS ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
IsleBooks POS provides a comprehensive Point of Sale (POS) system designed for businesses in the Maldives. Our service includes inventory management, sales tracking, customer management, business analytics, and integration capabilities with third-party services including QuickBooks and other accounting platforms.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and identification
- Accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account
4. Data Security and Privacy
We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your business data. All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. For detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Our Service may integrate with third-party applications and services, including but not limited to QuickBooks, WooCommerce, and payment processors. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of such third-party services.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
7. Payment Terms
Our Service operates on a subscription basis. Payment terms are outlined in your subscription agreement. We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. Failure to pay subscription fees may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Data Backup and Recovery
We perform regular automated backups of your data. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of important data. We recommend regular data exports and local backups as part of your business continuity planning.
9. Service Availability
While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for any business losses resulting from service interruptions.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of IsleBooks POS and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the Service without our express written permission.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall IsleBooks POS, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Male', Maldives.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
